Andre Agassi Reveals His Use of Crystal Meth

Today it was revealed in his memoir, tennis player Andre Agassi had used crystal meth, also known as methamphetamine. Clearly it took a lot of guts to admit this to the world, especially given the claims by many that crystal meth is very addicting, destructive, the condemnation many have for people who have used it, and the extremely harsh penalties for having anything to do with it, no matter how remote.

Based on the two articles CAP has read it is unclear as to when he stopped using it, but since there was no admission of going to a treatment facility, perhaps he is like others who just stopped because they wanted to.

ChristiansAgainstProhibition.org neither condemns crystal meth nor recommends it. However, we applaud his courage to despise the shame and stand up for the truth!

CNN has also conducted at least one interview, with a sponsor. The interviewer seemed to search hard for reasons to condemn Andre, but the sponsor stood up for him.
