Power Wedded to Fear

It is when power is wedded to chronic fear that it becomes formidable.

Sure sounds like an apt description of the Drug War which is intimately tied to the War on Terror; which is eclipsing the War on Human Rights and the War to Destroy the U.S. Founding Documents. "Founding Documents?" What are those?

The first drug prohibition laws (1914, Harrison Act) were the result of racism, future drug prohibitions (alcohol, marijuana) continued with the racist hatred, but also mixed in fears of social destruction. They also find their roots in the anti-Christian notion that bossing others around, intruding on their personal lives, and otherwise trying to control their behavior is 1) something Jesus advised 2) actually going to work. But this does not stop the Thug Addicts from spreading maliciousness as they sear their own consciences.
