Shining Lights Background

Everyone who is working to end prohibition and speaking up about it, is a shining light — comforting others, leading people to righteousness, snatching others from the fire. [Daniel 12:3, Jesus]

If you believe in ending prohibition but are afraid to tell others, then you are hiding your light under a bowl. [Matthew 5:14-16 Mark 4:21-22 Luke 11:33] Please do not be afraid. Please contact me so I can help.

On the Rock

The point of this essay and section of the website is to draw attention to people and organizations that have:

  • publicly explained how they changed their minds, or at least came to the conclusion to end prohibition.
  • have been through a traumatic situation (or many) and instead of the stereotypical unthinking knee-jerk reaction, they realized the Drug War is intrinsically flawed, counterproductive, and made their situation worse.

(As this section grows, it will be organized differently than now. For now it's in no particular order.)
