The Children

“What about the children?” “What message does this send to the children?” etc…

Those and similar statements are often used and unfortunately many are misleading, confusing, and just plain wrong.

As anyone familiar with children knows, they do not think like adults. They go through stages of cognitive development. And frankly, not everyone under 20-years-old is truly a child.

This section will will delve into these issues.

Also be sure to check out the very important research by Edward M. Brecher showing that (supposedly) well-intentioned adults (having perhaps zero experience in formal education) caused an explosion in inhalant use.
