What Makes You Great, or Not

Jesus called them together and said, "You know that those who are regarded as rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."

Commentary:

Ok, Jesus came to serve, not to be served. Let's think about this; ask yourself, "who is being forced into subservience and who is lording authority?" When someone is arrested, jailed, or other, because of Intrinsically-Failed-Drug-Prohibition (IFDP), who is lording authority? Who is being forced into servitude?

Isn't one of the most obvious forms of subservience the prison system?

Turning the Tables: Criminally Crushing Others, Then The Exact Opposite

A prison is a turning-of-the-tables of subservience. The people held there (in theory, not always in practice) are there because they made someone else subservient to their Constitution-crushing desires, they raped or robbed or destroyed or defrauded; thus they are forced into subservience: subservient to laws that ban those behaviors that harm others, subservience to the society which enacted those laws — whether through politicians or not — the imprisoned have near complete lack of choice in their lives, including day-to-day micromanagement, and are subservient to the people who do the close handling of them.

Paul McCartney has been arrested (too) many times on drug charges. Who was he harming? Someone else? Ha! Not! What harm was caused? Easy, harm to their whole band. Harm to the audience for potentially not being able to hear the concert. Harm to the vendors who want to supply eager fans with stuff they think they want. And the myriad repercussions from the lack of tax revenue, to the costs needed to involve state prosecutors, bad PR, etc…

What Are Prisons For?

Aren't prisons for people who forced their human wills on others and harmed others due to it? Aren't prisons for people who lorded their authority over others, often in a might-makes-right show of force, often with accompanying destruction?

Yes, drug prohibition is similar. Some adults force their human-wills and human-traditions* [Mark 7:1-9 Matthew 15:1-9] on other adults, taking away their God-given freedoms, which includes the freedom to say "no thank you." And in place of the many God-given freedoms they steal, in their stead they put human-based atrocities: kidnapping of children and giving them to other families; incarceration, the theft from freedom of movement; they use overwhelmingly destructive force as they destroy the domiciles of those they accuse, not even apologizing if they invade and trash the wrong address, terrorizing the inhabitants; killing family pets; even killing innocent citizens, then lauding themselves as perfectly innocent; and still more non-golden-rule behaviors. Yes, they are doing the work of their father, the devil. Repent.** [John 8:30-49]

Because they are thug addicts they take away God's gift to humanity of free-will. They are described by Jesus in his quote above, their main interest is to lord their authority over you, to force you to jump, to dance, to cry, to sing, to subjugate you because they think they are so great.*** [Luke 7:31-32 Matthew 11:16-17]

What Will Be Their Harvest and Reward?

You can tell what their "reward" will be from Jesus. What have been, and are, their deeds? What is the fruit of their deeds? Death, disease, destruction, pain, anguish, loss of family, loss of property, etc… They will be repaid how they've treated others. Jesus promises that the way we've treated others is the way he will treat us, plus some.

Do you want to be great in God's Kingdom? Follow Jesus' advice to do what servants do, serve God, serve others.

Want to be puny in God's Kingdom, or not even get in? Call yourself a servant but serve yourself instead by forcing your conflict of interest or religious posturing on the world via a ravenous thug addiction that lords authority over others, creating or forcing laws that are directly opposed to God's will. By your very actions, call God an idiot for creating various plants. Go against all the evidence and advice of recent months, years, decades, and millennia, that ending prohibition is the right thing to do, and be afraid of "the people," "what they might think," and "what message it sends." Continue to push for "high paying jobs" that are nothing more than society-ruining, budget-busting, human cage cowboys — small-cell round-up pens to herd in to, fill up and monitor — where the kidnapped are forced to stay because they were found with a plant God put here on Earth. So obviously for our use! This is not a call to "get wasted" it is a call for brains!

What will be among your fruit that you present to God on Judgement Day?
A. The deaths of people because of a bloodlust against plants God made, racial hatred, and people who've used those plants. The enslavement of others in prisons and forcing society to pay for it. The bullying of others — impugning they are wimps, cowards, and otherwise soft on criminals.
B. Ending drug prohibition. Reducing death, disease, destruction, government corruption, drug gang, and drug cartel influence. Bringing drugs back in to a system of regulation and control and education (instead of the current anarchy and other abominations named in "A").
