Right to Eat, or NO RIGHT to Eat, from the Tree of Life

Submitted by Thinking CAP on Sat, Jun 11, 2011 - 12:34 am

[…] He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.

[…] Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.

Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city.

Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.

In these two snippets from the book called Revelation we can ask a few questions. Why would anyone be denied from eating from the tree of life? Hm… well in the above passage Jesus stipulates a few reasons why people may be kept from going inside, and perhaps another implication is they aren’t able to obtain the fruit. But does that mean they don’t get any? I don’t know. What does that mean in terms of their ability to sustain their being, since the tree is called “the tree of life?” Does that mean they will have a limited life-span, as we do now? I don’t know. There is mention of a “second death” after the resurrection.

But what I do know is that Drug Warriors and Prohibitionists should be shaking in their boots! Their life is about not only denying people access to plants God made, but condemning those plants, jailing/abusing the people who use those plants, and even murdering those people! Whether that murder is through a SWAT raid or through a phone call to a radio show or a comment on a message board. Their consciences are seared as with a hot iron! (So says someone writing under the guise of Paul.)

We’ve also heard from Reverend John Clifton Marquis who very clearly stated that prohibition laws are false gods, idols; they are promoted as promising a salvation which THEY CAN NOT DELIVER. Thus prohibitionists are also engaged in idol worship.

What can we say about those who “wash their robes?” Hm, how about cleaning off the blood of those who’ve bled, been killed, or murdered due to prohibition? How does one do that? Hm, reading the Bible we learn the blood Jesus is the only thing.

Furthermore, we also can plainly see that the many falsehoods they engage in negate their entry to God’s city, and most likely their access to the tree of life. Why? Um, undercover trickery which they continue to engage in and have not repented from. Including all those who swear to uphold the Constitution but then actively destroy it, relegating it to the dustbin of history.

But mainly it should be patently obvious that the prohibitionists own behavior will be applied to them, as we see mentioned in the book of Revelation.

No doubt some of the small minded prohibitionists will read this, laugh to themselves, and jump to the conclusion I’m referring to refer, cannabis, marijuana, as others have done, calling it the tree of life. Nope. Or maybe the more educated prohibitionists will think I’m referring to various mushrooms, as others have done, saying one of them is the tree of life. Nope. The Bible doesn’t tell us much about the Tree of Life, via Revelation, but I do know it will surpass our expectations. And I can guarantee those who vote and otherwise force others to abstain from God’s plants will find that is the exact way they will be treated, denied the right to God’s Tree of Life.

Pray the prohibitionists repent today.
