Moral Decay!

Submitted by Thinking CAP on Wed, Dec 1, 2010 - 4:42 pm

Over the years and decades, a lot has been written with regard to the "moral decay" of society in the United States, and even other countries around the world.

“Ignore the Innocent Poor’s Blood on Me! I Have Not Sinned! God is Happy with Me.”

Submitted by Thinking CAP on Thu, Aug 5, 2010 - 2:24 am

On your clothes men find the lifeblood of the innocent poor, though you did not catch them breaking in.

Yet in spite of all this you say, ‘I am innocent; he is not angry with me.’ But I will pass judgment on you because you say, ‘I have not sinned.’

Update 2016-07-28

Submitted by Thinking CAP on Fri, Jul 29, 2016 - 2:54 pm

As the Democrats and Republicans while away the remaining hours and days in which they could easily pass legislation to reduce deaths, violence, crime, and taxes — to name but a few benefits of ending the Drug War — it seems instead…

Terrorists Try to Terrorize (Yet Teach) “the Children”

Submitted by Thinking CAP on Fri, Oct 31, 2014 - 2:47 pm

Short & easy Halloween reading about the scary fruit from those who should shut up their mouths, stop printing junk in the oldspapers, stop mangling truth in every other form of media, & stop holding meetings where they parade lies, liars, and the deceived. The nightmare they accuse others of making is their own creation, an eternal crop of spreading smothering darkness with nothing to do but panic as they run from panic to panic.

Prohibition’s Beast with 10 Horns

Submitted by Thinking CAP on Fri, Mar 15, 2013 - 8:05 pm

[The fourth beast] had large iron teeth; it crushed and devoured its victims and trampled underfoot whatever was left. It was different from all the former beasts, and it had ten horns.

[…] I wanted to know the true meaning of the fourth beast, which was different from all the others and most terrifying, with its iron teeth and bronze claws — the beast that crushed and devoured its victims and trampled underfoot whatever was left. I also wanted to know about the ten horns on its head […]

The ten horns are ten kings who will come from this kingdom.

Writer Asks Us If We Support (Re)Legalizing Marijuana

Submitted by Thinking CAP on Mon, May 7, 2012 - 3:11 pm

This question came yesterday:

I know evangelical Pat Robertson is a proponent of the legalization of marijuana and against the War on Drugs.

Does the Christians Against Prohibition Addicted to Love, support the legalization of marijuana? Remember Genesis 1:29, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food.” This in itself promoted marijuana.

Yes or No???

Thanks,

Yes, this is from Genesis.

Freedom for You

Submitted by Thinking CAP on Sat, Jul 2, 2011 - 11:10 pm

A special 4th of July Message for the Prohibitionists and Drug Warriors.

Therefore, this is what the LORD says: You have not obeyed me; you have not proclaimed freedom for your fellow countrymen. So I now proclaim “freedom” for you, declares the LORD — “freedom” to fall by the sword, plague and famine. I will make you abhorrent to all the kingdoms of the earth.

God Judges Leaders and Elders

Submitted by Thinking CAP on Sat, Jul 2, 2011 - 2:15 pm

The LORD enters into judgment against the elders and leaders of his people: “It is you who have ruined my vineyard; the plunder from the poor is in your houses.

“What do you mean by crushing my people and grinding the faces of the poor?”

Leaders to be Thrown Out by God

Submitted by Thinking CAP on Mon, May 30, 2011 - 3:17 pm

[Jesus] went on to tell the people this parable: “A man planted a vineyard, rented it to some farmers and went away for a long time. At harvest time he sent a servant to the tenants so they would give him some of the fruit of the vineyard. But the tenants beat him and sent him away empty-handed.

“He sent another servant, but that one also they beat and treated shamefully and sent away empty-handed.

“He sent still a third, and they wounded him and threw him out.

“Then the owner of the vineyard said, ‘What shall I do? I will send my son, whom I love; perhaps they will respect him.’

“But when the tenants saw him, they talked the matter over. ‘This is the heir,’ they said. ‘Let’s kill him, and the inheritance will be ours.’ So they threw him out of the vineyard and killed him.

“What then will the owner of the vineyard do to them? He will come and kill those tenants and give the vineyard to others.”

When the people heard this, they said, “May this never be!”

Jesus looked directly at them and asked, “Then what is the meaning of [this scripture]: ‘The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone’?

“Everyone who falls on that stone will be broken to pieces, but he on whom it falls will be crushed.”

The teachers of the law and the chief priests looked for a way to arrest him immediately, because they knew he had spoken this parable against them. But they were afraid of the people.

Keeping a close watch on him, they sent spies, who pretended to be honest. They hoped to catch Jesus in something he said so that they might hand him over to the power and authority of the governor.

Laughing at the Thought

Submitted by Thinking CAP on Sat, May 7, 2011 - 4:37 pm

“I [God] will bless [your wife Sarah] and will surely give you a son by her. I will bless her so that she will be the mother of nations; kings of peoples will come from her.”

Abraham fell facedown; he laughed and said to himself, “Will a son be born to a man a hundred years old? Will Sarah bear a child at the age of ninety?” And Abraham said to God, “If only Ishmael might live under your blessing!”

Then God said, “Yes, but your wife Sarah will bear you a son, and you will call him Isaac. [“Isaac” means “he laughs.”] I will establish my covenant with him as an everlasting covenant for his descendants after him.”

[…]

Then one of them said, “I will surely return to you about this time next year, and Sarah your wife will have a son.”

Now Sarah was listening at the entrance to the tent, which was behind him. Abraham and Sarah were already very old, and Sarah was past the age of childbearing. So Sarah laughed to herself as she thought, “After I am worn out and my lord is old, will I now have this pleasure?”

Then the LORD said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh and say, ‘Will I really have a child, now that I am old?’ Is anything too hard for the LORD? I will return to you at the appointed time next year, and Sarah will have a son.”

Sarah was afraid, so she lied and said, “I did not laugh.”

But he said, “Yes, you did laugh.”
