Teen Gets Two Life Terms Over Cocaine

This story is kind of ironic since just a few days ago the U.S. Supreme Court ruled on the unconstitutionality of giving teens life sentences for something other than murder.

Quote Let's hope and pray that if Corey Lamar Andrews isn't out of prison already, he will be soon.

Teen gets two life terms over cocaine

MOBILE (AP) — A Prichard teenager was sentenced to two concurrent sentences of life-without-parole in prison for dealing crack cocaine in Mobile federal court.

Corey Lamar Andrews, 19, was convicted by a federal court jurty on a crack conspiracy charge last November and was sentenced on Friday. He also will have to forfeit $120,000 under federal drug laws.

"That was the money we thought he made as a drug dealer," said Assistant U.S. Attorney Deborah Griffin. "The government alleged he got crack cocaine from Houston and distributed it in the Mobile area. He wasn't a street dealer. He was a distributor."

According to guest, Andrea Lari, on "Foreign Exchange," what is the number of Colombian refugees due to the Drug War?
